How does buying a domain work?
Search for a name, choose an available domain and send the short request. We confirm availability, send you a secure payment link, then register the domain in your business’s name, usually the same business day.
Is a domain included with your website plans?
Yes. Every website plan includes one .ca or .com domain. You can add the second one (.ca + .com) for $49/year.
Who owns the domain?
You do. The domain is registered in your business’s name. If you ever leave, we help you transfer it.
Can I transfer a domain I already own?
Yes. Contact us with the domain name and we will guide you through the transfer, or simply point it to your new BlackBox website.
What do I need for a .ca domain?
.ca domains are reserved for Canadian individuals, businesses and organizations (Canadian presence requirements). We confirm eligibility with you before registering.
